This workshop explores the poetry and practical applications of the  the 5 elements of Chinese medicine with movement, bodywork and self enquiry.

​

New to the 5 elements of TCM? This workshop is a perfect springboard to learning about this natural lens as a way to understand ourselves, others and the natural world.

​

Know the 5 elements of TCM? Explore them in your body and in relationship to others like you never have before.

​

What to expect in this 3hr workshop:

​

  • Fun movement practice incorporating yoga, qi gong and animal movement

  • Interactive lecture on the 5 element cycle

  • Learn a Zenthai bodywork sequence to support the flow of chi and relieve tension

  • Give and receive the medicine of touch

 

There is no prior knowledge needed, just a curious mind and an open heart.

Come in comfortable clothing, shirts and long pants encouraged.

Partners welcome, but not required.

Join us for a morning moving and offering bodywork dedicated to the 5 Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

This workshop focuses on the water element, with a particular spotlight on lower back therapy and kidney and adrenal support through the winter months.

​

ZenThai Shiatsu is a unique form of therapeutic bodywork that engages body, mind and spirit. It integrates Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai Massage and Osteopathy.

​

What to expect in this 3hr workshop:

  • Solo movement based therapy to support you body and mind through the winter months

  • Partner Yoga to understand energy lines and bodyweight transfer

  • Learn a 20min Zenthai Shiatsu bodywork sequence for lower back therapy and adrenal support.

  • Tune into our interconnectedness with natures healing rhythm

Working with deep listening, this form of bodywork is an effective structural and energetic therapy. We calm the nervous system to support natural healing mechanisms and invite flow to your whole being.

Abhi (Alyce Musk) brings an unwavering presence to her Zenthai sessions. With her background in movement, dance, yoga and 5 years sharing and teaching Zenthai, there is curiosity and a deep receptive quality of touch. Abhi's focus is unfixating the body-mind tensions and concerns, whilst listening to understand the root causes beneath the surface.

Jon, a Holistic Therapist blends insights from competitive sports conditioning and a professional background in physiotherapy in Argentina, offers Zenthai Shiatsu, a mindful, movement-based therapy that nurtures the mind, body and soul.
